JWF Industries is proud to serve its customers and the local community. JWF Industries recently earned the recognition as a Top 100 Organization, and its CEO recognized as a Top 100 Leader. Continuing to support the community, the company’s CEO was also recently appointed to the JARI board of directors.

JWF Industries was named a Top 100 Organization by Pennsylvania Business Central for a ninth consecutive year.

JWF Industries designs, manufactures, and integrates metal centric products by growing with the right people, right processes, right markets, and right customers for our employees, our communities, and our global customers in the energy, commercial, and defense industries. Top 100 Leader

William Polacek, President and Chief Executive Officer of JWF Industries, has been recognized as one of Pennsylvania Business Central’s Top 100 Business People. He has earned this honor ten times, beginning in 2010. Polacek and his team have developed JWF Industries and its company of families into thriving businesses with hundreds of employees. Strong family values are the foundation of the organization. Employees are empowered and encouraged to do their best and expand beyond boundaries.

Polacek and the organization have earned various awards and recognition for his entrepreneurial efforts in the manufacturing industry and in the community, including the Cambria Regional Chamber ‘Excellence in Business’ award for 2019. He has been featured in Forbes Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Pittsburgh Business Times and various local, state, and national publications and media.

Committed to his community, Polacek is a founding member and chairman of Johnstown’s Vision 2025 initiative. He participates on various committees and boards throughout the region to assist business development, growth initiatives, and entrepreneurial spirit in new projects. His family founded The Polacek Family Human Needs Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to helping the less fortunate in Johnstown and the surrounding communities.

JARI Board Appointment

A committed servant leader for the community, William Polacek was appointed to a three-year term for the Johnstown Area Regional Industries (JARI) board of directors. Previously he served as the chairman for a five-year period. He will assist in making recommendations and guidance for businesses in the local region to help propel local commerce forward.

JARI is a non-profit economic development organization that has been a partner of the business community in Cambria and Somerset Counties since 1974. JARI provides value-added services and connections to government officials, commercial lending, equity investing, real estate and other regional, state, and federal economic development groups (jari.com).
