(May 31, 2023) – Flyer Defense, LLC and JWF Defense Systems, LLC are proud to mark more than one year of successful partnership in the production of more than 200 Flyer™ 72-Heavy Duty ground mobility vehicles, a collaboration that has contributed significantly to the economic development of the Johnstown region, generating employment opportunities, and fostering remunerative advancements.
The partnership between Flyer and JWF has proven fruitful, combining the two companies’ respective expertise and resources to deliver cutting-edge, internally transportable, light tactical vehicles that meet the evolving demands of modern warfare.
Through their joint efforts, Flyer and JWF have established a world-class vehicle production line that has proven its quality and reliability through consistent, on-time or early delivery for a Direct Commercial Sales contract with the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces.
“Together, Flyer and JWF have created thriving industry operations and are currently producing new vehicles for allied foreign partners, as well as supporting the sustainment support of all Flyer vehicles currently fielded to U.S. Armed Forces, including the U.S. Special Operations Command Ground Mobility Vehicle 1.1,” said Oded Nechushtan, Founder and CEO of Flyer Defense.
“Our active production line is also fully prepared to build additional vehicles to completely meet USSOCOM’s approved full operational capability requirements,” Nechushtan added. “Maintaining an active production capability and capacity at JWF ensures our ability to rapidly respond to all future production and sustainment requirements for U.S. and foreign partner forces alike.”
