Johnstown, PA (September 30, 2022)– Steve Kobal has been named Chief Financial Officer at JWF Industries. Steve began his career at JWF Industries in the Accounts Payable Department in 1998.  Steve continued his career in various finance positions of increasing responsibility within the company and was most recently promoted to the position of Chief Financial Officer.  He will lead financial activities across JWF Industries companies and report directly to William C. Polacek, President & CEO. “Steve is another example of promoting within from college to working his way up to Vice President/CFO. He is a proven leader and I have enjoyed watching him grow with us,” said Polacek.

“After graduating college, I became interested in the private side of accounting. Manufacturing interested me and I had a desire to stay in the area. JWF was a smaller and growing company in 1998, they were recruiting, and the timeline added up,” commented Steve.  When asked if he could summarize his time at JWF, Steve responded with “I appreciate and am honored to work for a family and community oriented company in Johnstown.  JWF provides all employees the opportunity to advance and further their careers.”
