Central Penn Business Journal and Lehigh Valley Business have named JWF Industries as one of the Best Places to Work in PA. The awards are held in partnership with Best Companies Group.
Johnstown, PA (September 29, 2023) – Best Places to Work in PA identifies, recognizes and honors the best places of employment in Pennsylvania in three categories: small employer (15-99 employees), medium employer (100-249) and large employer (250 or more). To be considered, companies must be a publicly or privately held business; be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity; have a facility in the state of Pennsylvania; have at least 15 full- or part-time employees working in Pennsylvania; and be in business a minimum of one year.
Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.
“I am excited and proud to announce that JWF Industries has earned the distinction of being named one of the 2023 Best Places to Work in PA! This is a very difficult award to win as a manufacturer. Employer of Choice is not about the company, it is about all of us. JWF made this commitment four years ago to the point of making Tom Polacek Executive Vice President of Employer of Choice,” states JWF Industries President & CEO, Bill Polacek. “This is a compliment to everyone at JWF Industries. There is nothing we can’t do when we put our minds together. We continue to win contracts and make huge improvements to our facilities as a result of our Employer of Choice culture. This award is only the beginning. As they say in the movies…you ain’t seen nothing yet. Wait until 2024 and 2025!”
Tom Polacek, EVP of Employer of Choice, reflects on the honor, “Our JWF team is extremely honored to receive this award. I am very grateful for, and proud of, our JWFamily for their commitment to our customers, our community, and each other. This award exemplifies our employees’ gratitude for the positive culture they enjoy and JWF’s continued commitment to our team and our community.”
The final rankings of winners will be announced at the Dec. 7 awards ceremony.
